On behalf of the International Society of Dermatology (ISD), we are pleased to announce that the XIV International Congress of Dermatology (ICD) will be held from June 18 to 21, 2025, at the Rome Congress Centre La Nuvola, under the auspices of the Italian Societies of Dermatology SIDeMaST, ADMG, ADOI, and ADI.

The ICD Congress was last held in Italy (Naples) in 1964, and we are delighted and enthusiastic that it is returning to Italy after 51 years. Rome, the Eternal City, is a metropolis that blends eternal beauty, history, and spirituality. This city, as well as its host nation, Italy, is home to various world-renowned centres of excellence and training in dermatology. All roads lead to Rome!

The phrase “all roads lead to Rome” is a proverb that dates back to ancient times. It is believed to have originated from the Roman Empire, where many of the empire’s major highways radiated out from the city of Rome.

In 2025, the roads of dermatology will also lead to Rome in one of the most important events of the specialty. Where tracks or “roads” that encompass skin health, oncology, hair and nail diseases, cosmetic procedures and more will all lead to Rome.
